The NCGA CIF Golf Club will be discontinued on December 31, 2009. For all players who are 18 or younger, you can join the NCGA's Youth on Course for a $12 fee. Coaches will need to join another golf club to maintain their handicap. Youth on Course members receive discounted green fees at more than 115 facilities in Northern California during specified hours. Many facilities also offer discounts on range balls. In order to become a member of Youth on Course, you must complete the NCGA Foundation’s online life skills, Rules of Golf, etiquette and healthy lifestyle curriculum. Upon successful completion of the curriculum you will be prompted to join one of eight regional online clubhouses. You must sign up for a clubhouse to retain your NCGA membership. If you are already a member of a Youth on Course Online Clubhouse you will also receive an email explaining how to renew your membership in that club. You will not have to complete the entire online curriculum again. For more information about how to join, participating courses or Youth on Course policies, please visit www.youthoncourse.org. Coaches can find a club to join on the NCGA membership page: http://www.ncga.org/ncga-services/join/. |
